| If you're like most buyers, a home is the most expensive
purchase you'll ever make, and you'll probably need some form of financing. There are
many lending institutions that offer a variety of mortgage products. Financing options and
rates can vary widely, so it is important to do your research and shop around to ensure
you get the mortgage that best meets your needs at the best price.
Just as there are
all types of homes available for purchase, there are all types of lenders out there. I
would recommend you start looking at your local bank first, go in, talk to someone and
start getting used to the process. No reputable lender will charge you for a pre-approval.
Go through this process locally. See what you can afford, then contact me to start the
home buying process. I recommend getting at least 3 different pre-approvals.

your loan amount and interest rate.

I worked with Tim
Corr when he was with Coldwell Banker Mortgage. Tim is a great consumer advocate and will
be able to answer any questions you have about mortgages. Here's his contact information:
Another
person I recommend is a lender I met through a sold listing. As the selling agent I needed
to contact him frequently to make sure that the loan process was running smoothly. He was
always quick to respond and was great to work with. Here's his contact information:
